I was flipping channels earlier this evening, and saw a show I had not seen before on the "Fine Living" channel. The show caught my ear as I heard the familiar "Meat and Three" term. Timing is everything, right?

This new show is called "We Live Here" and this week's episode (#103, FLWLH-103L) features Nashville, Tennessee. The host, Brandon Williams, takes a few of the locals and has them escort him to some of the city's particular hot spots and various places that do not need to be missed when visiting Nashville.

One of the segments this week features a local Meat-n-Three that has been around for years, Swett's Restaurant [http://www.meatandthree.com/tn/swettsrestaurant/], located off one of the main arteries heading west from downtown (Charlotte Avenue - click here for map of Swett's location). Chris is a Nashville native and local musician who takes Brandon to Swett's to introduce him to the meat-and-three concept as well as to the owner, David Swett, whose grandfather started the restaurant in the 1950's. Chris is very enthusiastic about Swett's and Nashville, and is a natural ambassador for meat and three's. I've got to meet this guy.

The segment will be aired again on "Fine Living" on March 19, 2007 at 12:00am EST, or you can view excerpts of the show, including the "Meat and 3 segment", by clicking the following link: "We Live Here" Episode #103.

Have a great week!
